Pro-Angiogenesis Strategies
ANGEOO is exploring two complementary strategies to promote therapeutic angiogenesis and restore blood supply to tissues affected by vascular insufficiency.
Local Pro-Angiogenic Therapy
Our first strategy focuses on the local delivery of combinations of pro-angiogenic agents designed to stimulate and promote the formation of new blood vessels at the site of disease. By targeting treatment directly to affected tissues, this approach aims to achieve localized vascular regeneration while minimizing systemic exposure.
Autologous Cell-Based Therapy
Our second strategy explores an autologous cell-based approach to therapeutic angiogenesis. Using minimally invasive procedures, vascular cells or microvascular tissue may be obtained from the patient, expanded and stimulated under controlled laboratory conditions, and subsequently re-administered to the target tissue where enhanced angiogenesis is needed.
Through these complementary approaches, ANGEOO aims to develop innovative therapeutic strategies to promote vascular regeneration and address diseases associated with insufficient blood supply and impaired tissue repair.
